The cheapest effective H100 is $0.80/GPU-hour—but it is interruptible marketplace capacity

Twelve providers survived a review of public H100 pricing, discount, egress and availability pages. On a common workload assumption of 10 GB sent to the public internet per GPU-hour, RunPod Community Cloud spot is lowest; the cheapest non-spot rate found is Hyperbolic at $0.99.

What changes the answer

Spot wins, but it is not equivalent capacity. RunPod’s $0.80, Spheron’s $1.03 and Nebius’s $1.25 compute rates can be interrupted or depend on marketplace supply; availability is not guaranteed. awesomeagents.ai

Egress can overturn a compute-price comparison. Nebius adds $0.15/hour at 10 GB output, while AWS stays at its compute rate inside the cited 10 TB monthly free tier; after that AWS adds $0.90/hour at this traffic level. nebius.com

Committed prices hide duration and capacity risk. AWS’s cited $1.90 requires three years; CoreWeave’s $2.23 starting price requires two years. These are economically different from hourly marketplace offers. coreweave.com

“Available” ranges from instant inventory to a sales conversation. Hyperbolic advertised 96 H100s, Lambda is first-come, AWS may require a P-instance quota increase, and CoreWeave advertises supercomputer-scale capacity. hyperbolic.xyz
