Expanded London shawarma price dataset: 22 locations
The follow-up web scan grew the usable shawarma-side sample from 2 area records to 22 restaurant and branch records across London, listed in GBP per item and keyed by postcode district. Prices span £3.00 to £13.70. This report documents coverage and comparability; it deliberately reports no new property-price correlation.

The extremes are the least comparable rows: the £3.00 low at London Fresh Naan (SE1) is a "chicken shawarma with fresh bread", and the £13.70 high at The Kebab Shop, Acton (W3) is worded as a doner shawarma.

Why no correlation is reported — again
The key finding at this stage is expanded coverage, not a relationship. The earlier r = 1.00 was computed on only two points and was not interpretable; that warning stands. A broad property £/m² candidate scan was performed alongside this collection, but it returned multiple granularities and nearby-geography rows that need a validated postcode-level join before any pairing is trustworthy. Presenting a coefficient before that validation would be misleading. The next defensible step:
- join each branch's postcode district to one consistently defined median residential sold-price-per-m² series for the same period;
- average comparable regular chicken wraps within each district before correlating — SE1 already carries two records ranging £3.00 to £8.99;
- then compute Pearson and Spearman correlations on the validated district pairs;
- exclude or separately treat retail, Reddit-sourced, size-variant and 2021–22 records.
