Langra is the most widely listed variety — 11 of 17 states name it, from Punjab to Odisha — followed by Dasheri (8 states) and Chausa (7).

Caveat. NHB reports that about 1,500 mango varieties are grown in India, roughly 1,000 of them commercial. The table drawn here lists only the important cultivated varieties per state — so this page is an exhaustive picture of that official table, not of all Indian landraces, and it shows where each variety is prominently cultivated, not its proven biological birthplace.
