“Show all cities with same names in Russia.”
“show on a map”
A 2025 Roskadastr-based publication, carried by three outlets, lists 67 city instances under 31 duplicated names: 5 names occur three times and 26 occur twice. The complete 31-name list is in the table below. The map plots the coordinates we could verify — 49 distinct cities from 51 coordinate rows found, out of 67 published instances — so it is a partial geocoding, not the full list.
Scope caution: the duplicate-name count is single-sourced to Roskadastr even though three outlets republished it. The Russian official scope includes internationally recognized Ukrainian territory claimed or occupied by Russia; points there are labelled with their territorial notes and the map implies no sovereignty judgment. One Sakhalin row (Alexandrovsk-Sakhalinsky, not an exact-name match) was excluded, and two duplicate coordinate records for Дзержинск near 56.24, 43.45 were merged into one city.

Data: a 2025 Roskadastr-based list of 67 Russian city instances sharing 31 names, as republished by pnp.ru, ura.news and 1rostov.tv (single original source). Coordinates: 51 rows gathered from 14 independent web hosts, reduced to 49 mapped cities after excluding one inexact Sakhalin match and merging two duplicate Дзержинск records; 18 published instances remain ungeocoded. Regions for twice-repeated names were not itemized in the publication. The map draws Natural Earth country outlines for orientation only and implies no position on territorial claims.
