Method · Live-web search conducted August 21, 2026. Results were deduplicated by facility, city, state and opening year, yielding 260 named facilities across 45 states from 720 extracted mentions. “Courts reported” sums stated court counts at opening; missing counts remain excluded. Search visibility varies by place and year, so these figures describe documented openings found—not every U.S. court built. Ten calendar years means 2017–2026, with 2026 partial.
