The 61 validated shopping-format stores equal the 61 verified U.S. IKEA locations independently reported by
crehq.com (verified May 24, 2026, 100% geocoded) — evidence that 61 measures the shopping footprint, while 169 measures customer access points including pickup.
No pickup-only location could be validated: every dedicated pick-up page found — Albuquerque, New Orleans, Nashville and Pittsburgh — returned only the generic store-finder page, for example
ikea.com. Those undocumented pickup and collection points account for most of the 73 unresolved locations.
