Raw extraction yielded 4,670 pocket-item rows, 4,307 commuter rows and 12,339 prepared rows before aggregation; the 60-item shortlist keeps items appearing in multiple archetypes or clearing archetype support thresholds. A count is the number of distinct pages in the searched corpus mentioning an item within an archetype after synonym consolidation (phone variants, knife variants, multi-tool spellings, notebook/notepad, power-bank, headphone/earbud and first-aid variants) — not an ownership rate. Sources mix recommendations with actual loadouts, so read this as a synthesis of common guidance, not a population survey. Region totals come from the precomputed aggregate set.
