for major candies in the USA show me their corporate ownership relationship
A representative set of 72 widely distributed U.S. candy brands, mapped as of August 31, 2026, from brand to U.S. operating company to ultimate corporate group. Three groups — Ferrero (14 brands, counting its Ferrara-held portfolio), Mars (13) and Hershey (13) — account for 40 of the 68 cleanly attributed brands; two famous names, KIT KAT and Cadbury, are made in America under license rather than owned here.
Brand → U.S. operating company → ultimate group. Solid lines are ownership; dashed orange lines are U.S. license or manufacturing arrangements where the global trademark sits elsewhere. Hover any name for detail.

Method: representative set of 72 widely distributed U.S. candy brands compiled as of 2026-08-31; one row per brand with direct company, normalized ultimate group, relationship wording and source URL. Rows labeled CTH Invest / Ferrara are shown combined with Ferrero Group, since Ferrara is the operating-company layer of Ferrero’s U.S. portfolio. Portfolio counts come precomputed with the rows. Four brands whose citations are not first-party company sources (Bazooka, HARIBO Goldbears, Red Vines, Sour Punch) are set aside in a note rather than mapped. This is not exhaustive coverage of the U.S. candy market and not a market-share ranking.
