Nine World Barista Champions came from eight countries

Across competition years 2016–2025, Australia is the only country with two winners. The decade produced nine champions rather than ten because the 2020 championship was cancelled during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Australia is the repeat winner. Anthony Douglas won in 2022 and Jack Simpson in 2025; both are associated with Axil Coffee Roasters in Melbourne.
